Who runs Obleevo, and what it will never ask you for
Obleevo is free, has no accounts and shows no advertising. That is unusual enough to deserve an explanation, and a service that moves files between people should say plainly who stands behind it.
1. Who runs it

Obleevo is proprietary software. It is free to use and will stay free to use; it is not free to copy, modify or host elsewhere. See the licence for the detail.
There is no business model hidden behind the free price. The service costs very little to run because it stores nothing, and it has nothing to sell because it collects nothing.
2. What it does
Obleevo opens a temporary room between browsers. Files, messages, a shared whiteboard, screen sharing and voice travel directly from one browser to the other, end-to-end encrypted. The server only introduces the browsers to each other, and everything about a room ceases to exist when the room closes.
Files are never uploaded to us, never stored by us, and cannot be downloaded from us. There is no link to a file that anybody could share, scrape or index.
3. What Obleevo will never ask you for
Obleevo will never ask you for a password to an account, an email address, a phone number, a payment, a card number, an identity document, or a download of any program. It has no accounts, no paid tier and no app to install.
If a page that looks like Obleevo asks for any of those, it is not Obleevo. Close it, and tell us at [ABUSE CONTACT] where you found it.
The only password Obleevo ever uses is a room password that you choose yourself, and it is checked inside your browser - it never reaches the server.
4. How to check any of this
You do not have to take our word for it. Everything the server sends your browser can be read in your browser’s developer tools, and the verification page compares the code you received against a published list of fingerprints.
The page loads nothing from any other website - no fonts, no analytics, no advertising, no scripts - and its security policy forbids it from doing so.
