Obleevo and Dropbox Transfer, side by side
On the free plan, a Dropbox Transfer link works for 7 days, and the file stays on Dropbox’s servers until 30 days after that. Obleevo keeps it nowhere: it goes from your browser to the other person’s, end to end encrypted, while you are both in the room. It is free, with no account and no ads.

2. When Dropbox Transfer is the better choice
Obleevo needs both people online at the same time. On the free plan, a Dropbox Transfer link stays open for 7 days, so the other person can collect the file later, while you are offline. When that is what you need, Dropbox Transfer is the better choice.
3. How to switch
- Open obleevo.com.
- Create a room.
- Send the invite link. The other person accepts each file.
