Obleevo and Magic Wormhole, side by side
Magic Wormhole is a command-line program that both people install. It sends a file once the other person types a short code such as 7-crossover-clockwork, directly or through its relay. Obleevo keeps it nowhere: it goes from your browser to the other person’s, end to end encrypted, while you are both in the room. It is free, with no account and no ads.

2. When Magic Wormhole is the better choice
Obleevo runs in a browser. Magic Wormhole runs in a terminal, so you can script it and send files between machines with no browser at all. It is open source under the MIT licence, so you can read its code and run your own mailbox server and relay. When that is what you need, Magic Wormhole is the better choice.
3. How to switch
- Open obleevo.com.
- Create a room.
- Send the invite link. The other person accepts each file.
